Stop Driver Robot hogging system resources

Have you used Driver Robot and are now wondering why your computer is slower than treacle?

Well, it’s because Driver Robot is still running in the background.

And for some reason it really hogs system resources.

My CPU usage stays at 100% while it’s running.

Now, this isn’t usually a problem, because if you’ve been using Driver Robot you’ll be restarting Windows after installing new drivers.

But if you quit it without installing drivers and you want your resources back, here’s what you need to do.

The quick fix

Look for the Driver Robot icon in your Windows® taskbar.

Driver Robot icon in the Windows taskbar

Right click it…

…then select Exit.

And that’s it. Done.
