			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Uninstalled a driver because it didn&#8217;t work as expected?</p>
<p>Good news. Driver Checker makes restoring your old driver is quick and easy.</p>
<p>Note: You have to have <a href="/how-to-back-up-your-drivers-with-driver-checker/">backed up your drivers</a> before you can restore them.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how you do it&#8230;</p>
<h2><span>Step 1</span> &mdash; Choose a driver to restore</h2>
<p>Start Driver Checker and click <strong>Restore</strong> on the main menu.</p>
<p>The drivers are not selected by default, so check the one you want to restore.</p>
<p>If the driver isn&#8217;t listed, make sure the right backup folder is listed at the bottom of the screen.</p>

<p>If it isn&#8217;t, click <strong>Browse</strong> and select your backup folder.</p>
<p>Click <strong>Next</strong>.</p>
<h2><span>Step 2</span> &mdash; Finish driver restoration</h2>
<p>Click <strong>OK</strong> when you get the &#8220;Restoration is completed!&#8221; pop-up message.</p>

<h2><span>Step 3</span> &mdash; Restart your computer</h2>
<p>You may need to restart your computer for the driver to work.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;ve uninstalled a dodgy driver, Driver Genius makes restoring the previous driver is a simple process.</p>
<p>Note: You have to have <a href="/how-to-back-up-your-drivers-with-driver-genius/">backed up your drivers</a> before you can restore them.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how you do it&#8230;</p>
<h2><span>Step 1</span> &mdash; Select your backup folder</h2>
<p>Start Driver Genius and click <strong>Restore Drivers</strong> on the main menu.</p>
<p>On the &#8220;Specify the location of your driver backup files&#8221; screen, click on the folder you backed up your drivers to.</p>

<p>If you want to restore drivers from a different folder, click on <strong>Browse my computer for drivers backup</strong>.</p>

<p>Then click <strong>Browse</strong> and select your backup folder.</p>
<p>I backed up my drivers to a folder on my backup hard drive.</p>
<p>Click <strong>Next</strong>.</p>
<h2><span>Step 2</span> &mdash; Select a driver to restore</h2>
<p>The drivers are not checked by default, so select the one you want to restore.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m going to restore my modem driver.</p>
<p>Click <strong>Next</strong>.</p>
<h2><span>Step 3</span> &mdash; Confirm driver restore</h2>
<p>Next you&#8217;ll get a pop-up message asking you if want to restore your driver now.</p>

<p>Click <strong>Yes</strong>.</p>
<h2><span>Step 4</span> &mdash; Restart your computer</h2>
<p>After Driver Genius has restored your driver you&#8217;ll get a pop-up message saying you have to restart your computer for the restore process to take effect.</p>

<p>Click either <strong>Yes</strong> or <strong>No</strong> &mdash; it&#8217;s up to you.</p>
